This gear lever footpeg conversion has been specifically designed for the Tiger 1200.
It is intended to primarily provide a much larger peg to aid shifting, with three different peg positions to account for larger feet/boots.
The peg lever will also provide damage limitation in the event of a fall as it will bend on impact, reducing the risk of breaking the standard brittle aluminium shifter.
The bike's existing gear lever will need to be modified by removing the end section, then drilled (2 x 8mm holes) to accommodate the new peg assembly.
The new part comes with 2 hole gauges to help drill in the correct positions.
The assembly is available with either a plastic or stainless steel peg.
