Barkbusters STM-007 Storm Plastic Hand Guards with Handlebar End Mounting For Threaded Inserts For bar ends with fixed internal 6mm or 8mm threaded section.
This system will work on many bikes that do not have space available on the handlebar for the S1 inner handlebar mount and also have a permanent 6mm or 8mm internal threaded section in the bar end. This new version will utilise an adjustable bar end cap which allows the aluminium backbone to be adjusted for reach by 15mm forward and backward to give more adjustment where fairing/screen clearance is required.
All existing fitting applications remain the same. Provides great wind and cold weather protection to keep your hands warm in the colder months. Aluminium frame mounts solely to the end of the handlebar and the kit includes a choice of 6mm or 8mm fixings to secure the handguard in place.
Covers most Triumph* models with this type of internal thread arrangement.
*Some Triumph models have a 5mm internal thread which must be drilled and tapped to 6mm, this includes the Street Triple. STM-007.
